GRAB HEAD MAGNETS

These magnets hold steel objects in an unshakeable grip. Once a Goudsmit grab head magnet has been switched on, it never lets go again, even if the air pressure drops or if there is a power cut.
These magnets are meant:

For picking up or gripping:

• Stamped or perforated steel objects
• Punched steel materials
• Wire mesh parts

For transport and transfer operations in:

• Automatic production lines
• Press-to-press transfers

MAGVACU® COMBIGRIPPER

The MagVacu® combigripper uses a combination of magnetic and vacuum techniques for the handling of (perforated) sheet up to a thickness of 12 mm.

Re-tooling for different products is not necessary so that more types of products can be handled on unmanned machines. The Combigripper is also twice as powerful as, and safer than, conventional vacuum systems. The magnet pulls the steel plate onto the vacuum suction cup so that it fits neatly onto it. This means that no vacuum can leak away around the edge of the suction cup

The universal combigrippers can be used:

• in automated processes on laser cutting machines
• in press brakes and press transfer systems in
  the car and sheet metal work automotive and plate processing industries

With vacuum grippers alone, it is possible to handle 75% of all products without retooling but, with our MagVacu® Combigripper this rises to 90 – 95%. The combination of vacuum technology and magnetic force also ensures that the plates are handled twice as easily and twice as safely and, in addition, steel , aluminium and stainless steel can be handled by a single system without re-tooling.
